Investment Analyst – Circular Plastics, Student Worker

Do you want to work for a purpose-driven organisation - and have engaging tasks and real "on the job" training? We are currently looking for a part-time Investment Analyst for our Circular Plastics (“CP”) Investments Team.

Exposure to many aspects of circular plastics investments
The Circular Plastics Investments team is part of KIRKBI Climate and invests in companies that contribute to reducing CO2e emissions and plastic waste to create impact, while generating financial returns. This position is a great opportunity to develop your personal and professional skills-set while getting real “on-the-job” training and exposure to key investment disciplines. You will become an integral and valued member of the CP Team and work with many different aspects of circular plastics investments, in collaboration with other members of the team. You will work in an organisation driven by purpose and well-established values, where quality, integrity, and people are of utmost importance.
Your key tasks include:
Assist on in-depth technology, company and industry analysis of potential investment opportunities.
Work with the team to build and maintain origination, pricing and financial models to support investment decisions.
Support the team in the preparation of materials for the KIRKBI Climate Board of Directors on new investment opportunities.
Various ad-hoc assignments related to deal screening selection, portfolio management, and other administrative tasks.
Analytical student to engage in impact investing
You are studying finance, strategy, data science, or natural sciences and have a keen interest in impact investments. You are in your final year of your bachelor’s degree or the first year of your master’s degree with an interest in bridging your educational background with real investment experience.
Moreover, your qualifications are the following:
You are fluent in English (written and spoken)
You are accustomed to Microsoft Office - especially Excel and PowerPoint
Keen interest in the investment and the sustainable materials sector
Great analytical and financial skills
A team-oriented coworker with a curious nature and a commitment to ongoing development
The position is 15-20 hours per week with flexibility during holiday and exam periods. Your place of work will be our Copenhagen office.
